anyone ever pulled one of these out? I need to replace mine due to rust and have a good spare in a donor vehicle. The last one I removed was with a 9" grinder but I'm looking for an easier way.

It's pretty easy if you are replacing with another original steel panel.
You will need to have the roof partially open to do this.
1.) Pry the material trim panel fron the front edge of the sunroof and slide backwards.
2.) Undo the bolts retaining the roof to the slide brackets noting the position of the spacers. Brackets are front and rear on both sides.
3.) lift the roof panel up/forward and out fron the vehicle (it may help to have two people for this task).
4.) Refit is in reverse procedure, just double check the shiming when complete and the allignment.
When doing the job you may have to move the roof in and out a little by the motor to get it in the right place to work on it.
I hope this helps
Don.
