GQ lights coming on/off

I am having problems with my GQ with the headlights.
When you turn the switch on sometimes nothing happens. If you turn it off and on a few times they will eventually turn on.
When the lights are on and i put my highbeam on it wont turn off again......other times all the lights turn off and i have to flick the switch on and off to get them on again. (scary at night driving then suddenly no lights at all).
The other night i had the lights on and they wouldnt turn off.?? Again flicking the switch a few times they turned off.
Is this the switch? (the one with the indicators etc on it)
Could it be a stuffed relay??
Something else??

relay, wires on the lights, contacts on the switch? get za multi maeter and start tracing it, oull the relay and try to replicate the isue, same with the switch

I was thinking it was the switch.

This unfortunately is incorrect. I just bought one for the R31 and it is the wrong one. The actual arm is the same but the plug is different. Any one need a R31 switch???
The correct one to use is from a N13 Pulsar.
Part number:
niles
14506
The skyline uses 14504.
