Yep, no probs.

Just go to your local Warn dealer and let them know if you need a 3 or 5 pin.

you can just get em from an auto parts shop. It's a pretty common plug.

i went through the same thing, ended up changing over to a caravan male and female plug, some ppl dont like the idea because you cant swap remotes or buy another remote, but the way i see it, caravan plugs are even cheaper and readily available than the warn ones,

ateco want $47 for the plug or something like that, i fixed mine for $6. just replace it with whatever plug,

the first answer i got was "no, youll have to replace the whole control box, thatll be $498 thanks" ......typical

edit: link to mine :D

no worries jimbo,

dunno bout you, but there was no way i was forking out $45 bucks for a 3 pin plug, when i could do this for about $6 or $7 and i couldnt see any major downfalls, except for the ones such as

"if your controller breaks" or "if you run over it" but you can touch wires/link solenoids to run the winch, and iv since put an in cab switch aswell, it was all too easy, 6 months later and all is still sweet :D

I did mine today I went to Jay car and bought a electronice male and female plug (smaller than a trailer plug) works a treat.
I rang ARB Wollongong thay said thay dont make 3 pin plugs any more so I would have to buy a 5pin one that means I would have to buy both plugs ends and they said $145 & I laughed and said no thanks
I'll post up some pics of my box latter.

sweet as,

its all too easy hey, but understandable that people who simply dont know and dont have anyone to ask just pay some of these rediculous prices. thats why i can justify all the other crap i buy, because somewhere along the line i saved money on something :D

definitely put some pics up when you can, will be good to see,
