OK, did some searching and found a few people, who seemed to know quite a bit about superchargers/turbos saying that 3psi is possible and a 5% gain, but not worth it for the $$$ When cars start using 42V systems these devices may work better and become useful.

the bottom one looks cool but try finding an 3kw alternator to run it off.

and also how do you controll the speed? you need some sort of eltric speed controll otherwise you will have 50lb of boost at idle and next to nothing at max rpm.

$1695 for a leccy turbo? Surely you could find and fit a proper one from a wreckers for around this price, depending on car of course.

Why not buy a Brand new ball bearing Garrett turbo.
Which cost less than that junk.

I guess some people, like me, are VERY curious about this sort of thing since I am up for at least $6000 for the real thing - a belt driven supercharger, which I will probably never justify for a 1992 vehicle worth $10,000 max.

And dont write electric superchargers off yet, a very reputable LARGE automotive OEM like this one:

Yes, its early days in electric supercharging right now, but they may be on a lot of vehicles in a few years...

Following in the footsteps of the turbozet or woteva the hell it was called, these are pieces of shit. Wouldnt install one if I was paid too !@$
