g'day all,

im planning on putting a body lift in my Sierra. would polyurethane be the best material to use? and would i need to use rubber washers where the body and chassis touch the block?

cheers,
Sean

unless you drill through the body poly block wont work. 6 main mounting points are attached to the body and will either need special lift blocks made or you can do the dodgy and just use 4mm 50x50 rhs blocks.......

Contact Gutless off this forum, he makes a lift kit that does not require you to cut the body studs etc. I think he uses ally blocks. Very easy to install with this method and fully reversable. Good dollars from memory.

Polyurethane is OK, this is what I used, just place them between the body and the rubber mounts. The rubbers around the chassis should go back in the same order. If you use Gutless ( Peter's) kit you have to drill the cup wahers at the very bottom out to 16mm I think.
