No, Not a straight fit. Some of the tank mountings will have to be cut off the RR chassis for clearance, as the disco tank doesn't fit up the same way. You will notice that it not only has a different number of bolts holding it at the rear, but they are spaced differently . Secondly, the filler tube from the Rangie is about twice the diameter and is in a different place.. MA Disco (1994) onwards use a plastic tank, I think up to MA they use a steel one still, but I still think the filler will be an issue. I'll have to look to tell you for sure, but the only on I have at work ATM has a 136litre long ranger fitted.

You could poke your head under a pre '94 and take a squiz, but I can verify the post 94 will not fit straight in without a bit of cutting and welding of mounts etc and modifying the filler neck.

so, i guess the easiest and best way would be looking for a spare long ranger 136L?

Sorry Matt, its already sold, I just haven't taken it out yet...

But yes, they are a great tank, and very strong. I have one in my Rangie, and at one stage the vehicle got hung up on a large rock, and barely dented the tank at all.
