Hi if you'd read my very first post we were looking at a Terrano, well that went out the window adn we now have a 2001 Challenger.
Now all i need to know is what can this baby do in terms of 4x4 sand and dirt tracks?
AND YES ppl we still had to get the 7seats, there being placed in next week, I never knew these could have them but they can. Does anyone here have one that has had rear seating placed in it???

Not too bad offroad, but putting a third row of seats is severly going to limit your luggage carrying capacity and access to the compartments in the rear.

Hi pickle,
We got seats put in lost the compartments in the rear, but thats ok. don't think we woudl have 'really' used them anyways.
As for luggage, when seats are folded there is just about the same space, and when seats are down, it can fit those small kids bages(eg:small suitcase's) and this is really all thats going to be in the bac when seats are down anyways, Only need rear seats for short periods of time for 3extra kiddies
Looks a lil funny but LOVE the car, so i will get over it, yet to go 4wding in it yet tho. Maybe after the holiday rush we'll head off to try out luck at beach driving with a few mates.

Hi, the Challenger performs very well offroad. You'll have a blast with it. I took mine places I didn't think it could go and never had trouble doing so.
As for the 3rd row of seats, that's interesting. Where did you get it done? Was it a Mitsu dealer? Is it a retrofit of a Pajero system? I'd be interested to see some pictures...

Why would you buy a challenger and than fit a 3rd row seats ? Pajero's allready have them, even Mitsubishi says the Pajero is the better car off road.

Well maybe his budget does not stretch to the price of a pajero. And he might also prefer the good look of the Challenger.
