Outer Limits 4x4 Board

just wondering what might be wrong ive got an rb30mav swb with a
5 speed and when its in gear its very sloppy like its in
neutral ive been told it could be the top selector plate now im not sure what box is in it either cause i got the gq 5speed plate and the plate is different would the box be the 2.8 one ive done a search and found a couple of pics to say its the 2.8 but im not sure

in my mq i had same prob and was just a worn out plastic bush that surrounded the ball on the bottom of the selector went to datsun and got another for stuff all.
