Rusty welsh plugs

So its finally time to install the gearbox and transfer case I bought from Heath in Newcastle, (thanks Heath). I pulls the motor/gearbox/transfer case out as one, and split them. While they are apart, I notice fluid trickling down at the rear between the block and the plate that is bolted behind the fly wheel. Knowing there is a welsh plug there, its lucky I found it now, and go to replace it. I remove the clutch, and spend half an hour getting the flywheel off. Someone had used real good locktite on the bolts. I unbolt the plate, only to find a perfect welsh plug, and a build up of muddy water and crud, which had been leaking slowly out. BUGGER.
