What type of system ? American or Euro ?
I used to run an Impco 300A on my 4.2 TB42 before I changed to a V8.

Replied to your PM, but then I saw this thread.
I am running an OMVL R90/E.
If it makes any difference , it is on an EFI TB42
Cheers

yeah, thanks shorty40, not sure if there is a difference, i thinking there would be, the 300A looks like it would bolt straight on

No the 300A bolts to an alloy adapter that sits on top of the carby and screws to the centre stud of the carby. The 300A then uses 3 screws to attach to the adapter
Any gas place should be able to get you the adapter for the 300A

ive got a 300a on a tb42. but since i only run gas, is there anyway to reduce the complexity of the set up? the air filter sits really high and im sure i don't need every single component there. who's running a really simple straight gas set up?

ive made my own straight lpg setup using a ed falcon throttle body and a impco 300a mixer on my 2f landcruiser
i just made an adapter plate from 3mm steel that bolts to the standard manifold then to the falcon throttle body
then just use the rubber joiner and wack the 300a straight ontop
works a treat nice and simply can also use impco 225 or 200
sorry no pics digicam is on holidays used to have pics in my members thread but there gone now
