Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Im lookin at a 91 GQ shorty with the works, lockers trans gears etc etc

My question is...
Its a 4.2 petty auto (carby motor) i want to put a manual box in it, will one from the same yr model and engine bolt straight in even though its got reduction gears in the trans?

Nothing is wrong with the auto box itself, i jus nat a fan of em.

have a mate interested in swapping manual box for auto out of same truck as yours he has 5lt conversion and would prefer auto

would not put nissan auto bhind 5L justinshere would use the holden box myself up to u

. as for box how much for it mate would like it my self
