Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Has anyone with a GU 4.5lt manual got any figures on fuel economy ?

and what are they like performance wise?

also how do they compare fuel and performance wise to a TD42 non turbo?

i have a 4.5L wagon

i get about 560km out of 85L of fuel when highway driving,
and about 480-500 when city driving

but patrols and fuel economy shouldnt be used in the same sentence.

i use anywhere between 20lt- 30lt per 100 on the blacktop.
i havnt driven on the sand yet, im too scared of the fuel bill

we spend a week at fraser every xmas.

i didnt keep track of fuel just kept putting more in. i think i went through 300 litres in 8 days.

but we drove around heaps everyday we were at another part of the island.

Fully laden with 285\75's .. try around 58L per hundred Kms

ive got 35s not 33s.
but then again i have 4.88 diff gears instead of 4.11
il have to wait and see
