Is the new hilux up to the task?

Looking at getting a new diesel SR5 dual cab lux, is it going to be up to the task of a trip to the Cape? Most of my driving will be weekend trips away to fraser (god bless my girlfriends house on fraser!) but the odd trip to the cape will be on the cards.

The odd trip to the cape? Just the luck eh? Couple of 4wd mags have taken their new lux's up and seems to have no problems at all.

If set up right I cant see a problem with it, xrdave on this forum had his new TD hilux up the cape with no worries

Wont have any problems but I would update the shit house shocks that toyota put on, some ome with a 2inch lift give you a bit more ground clearance for those rutted roads. Regards Steve M
