If you are with a 4wd club try your state 4wd group. they usually have a insurance scheme with someone to insure your 4wd while off raod as well as on road

just cars...

im 24 with a gq shorty, 35s lifted and few other bits and pieces and i pay around 600.

when i was looking for my shorty, i was looking at one with a gen3, i think the quote for that was around 750.

just cars are also good because your cover in the bush as well, as long as the track in on a map.

u can get a quote online on their website...

steer clear of the Vic one, have a look at other threads in General Tech.

Just cars, Unique car insurance, TCIS is still a good option...

Going through the same process at the moment and having trouble finding one that will give us a decent "agreed value" on our GU. Seems book price is 24K on an ST TD42 turbo and when we try and add accesories and shit they have a hearty

Will try..
Bushtrack, TCIS and Unique in the morning and let you know how we go.

Double check your cover with aami. Was with them breifly a couple of years ago with a hilux I had. After nearly rolling it, I found out I was'nt covered in a private park or on any non mapped roads or tracks.
Switched to TCIS... all good now!

I was with AAMI, wrote the car off this week (tuesday night) and it has all been settled already!! Amazed with their service and speed in resolving this.
I would highly reconmend them if they cover what you need.

I'm in the middle of looking for a new insurer and all this info is good to know. I've been with the NRMA for many yars now, but they'll only insure a car with up to 2 inchs of suspension lift, so I guess they've just lost my business. The two policies I've been looking at are with AAMI and Just Car, although I think I'll go with AAMI because they'll insure my car for so much and then add the value of all the mods on top of that, wheras Just Car will insure my car for so much, and won't add the value of the mods to the policy. I find that very strange considering that Just Car is underwritten by AAMI anyway.

I had my mods written down on the policy and they didn't seem to have any problems with it at all and the agreed value was was raised.
When i had the the accident, they asked if there was any other modifications that I hadn't told them about. The answer was no, that I had actually taken the lift, lights and winch off. They weren't concerned about that only wether anything was added. They still payed out to the full amount.
