Pajero Seats

Post by Maggot4x4 »

Hi Guys,

Can you let me know if there were any Paj seats that came with arm rests and if they also were suspension seats.

If you can let me know what models they came from that would be great.

Yeah I had read that thread before I posted but it didn't cover what I am looking for.

Yes my Gen 2 NH has the factory GLS seats and they have the fold down wings on both seats. As in my other thread I fitted the suspension seat bases. Their pretty comfy especially with the suspension base.
All the Gen 2 (91-2000) GLS models have the fold down arm rests I believe. Gen 2 GLX models don't have the fold down wings but have a lumbar support knob instead.
I'm pretty sure the Gen 2 factory suspension seat bases only came out in the NH-NJ GLS models (91-95) as an option with the rear diff lock, adjustable shocks and ABS and was also found on some earlier Exceed models.
They are pretty hard to find nowadays though but are around if you look.
I don't think any of the local Gen 1 seats had the fold down armrests (suspension seat or not) but I could be wrong.

I've got a 2000 GL with the poverty pack seats - are the seats from a GLS/GLX a bolt in option?
