does anyone know what the landrover freelander v6 auto is like. And what fuel consumption could I expect?

They are crap, dont waste your money, better off with a forester or crv.

only one engine for the freelander and thats is the TD4. Good car with that engine. But the V6 over heats in the UK for christ sake, The 1.8 has head gasket problem.
The V6 make a Rangie seem ecomonic on the fuel front
I know as a rule you Aussie don't like the freelander but woth the TD4 engine in it, it is a good little car and very supriseing off road

True, the Td4 would be my pick if I wanted a Freeloader, but the IRD and viscous unit failures along with Hill descent and ABS faults etc etc etc, make me want to go Jap in a small offroader.
