Why not engineer-able? Just because it is bolt on? like a door is??? I thought anything was possible, when I had my mq shorty the same idea crossed my mind.

cheers fnq

what is so bad about welding it?

be a hell of alot less effort than trying to make a bolt in panel that will seal and is rigid enough to be safe

the reason dont weld is that its too farkin expensive at the present moment so i want to make a water tight seal with bolts using the original canopy hole and a frame around the rest with hole so i can unbolt and use canopy if i choose

I have thought about the same thing, even using the glass of the canopy as a rear window, I was going to build my own wall based of a cargo barrier, mount the glass in the middle using canopy hinges, then bolt the whole unit in using canopy bolt holes, but would rather a cab-chassis.
Let me know how you go, and post pics if you can....
