Cutting rear guards on a 80

well with the new tyres i need t trim a bit more outta the rear guards on the 80..

Im jsut wondering if anyones done it and if so have they got any piics??? or advice?

As u can see its tight :?

Cranky, hows things. I'm interested in your post cause I bought another 80 today, as I wanted one that was in perfect condition and one that I can roll over 6 times and drive away.
I will follow this with interest as I am going to fit bigger tyres to my silver one and will have to cut the gaurds to fit them in.
What are the size of the tyres that you have fitted now? There isn't much room to cut panels back. I am now going to cut the sills out and weld in RHS instead of fitting side steps, I'll probably post another thread on the process I go through of doing that, I gotta have it done in a couple of weeks for a winch challenge we are competing in.

They are 38 x 15.5 x 16's on it atm
