Hi there,

im recently joined member of outerlimits and the 4x4 game. i just purchased a 93 Zook Vitara and am wanting to make it more mud and rock friendly.

i was wanting to put 31x10.5R15 Simex Centipede MT's, on my baby n was just wondering how much lif i need to put them on with scrapping or rubbing. i was going for suspension lift (height?), bodylift (height?) and offset Rims (offset?) and was wanting your opinions on what measures are required and the cheapest ways of getting enough clearance to stick the 31's on?

is it possible t stick 33x12.5R15 on? or is this way too expensive?

your help would be greatly appreciated!!!

i think Calmini do lift kits for vitaras.big rubber equals buggered gearing so check out a good gear set while your at it.

calmini = $50, 000..........

3" sus lift is max, but will reduce longevity and strength of components.

3" BL is max, but may not be legal. 2" or less is legal.

30" tyres are max, with out cutting anything off your vit.
31" is ok, but with out the 3"+3" or guard cutting, it won't fit.
33" are too big, but possible.
gearing is only just bearable with heavy 31"s.

check the bible. there are a lot of threads on this topic already. if you cant find what you are looking for in the bible, then its either no one has doone it, or i'm not keeping the bible up to scratch.

does also depend on the true size of the tyres.... like not many 31's are actually 31" some are more, many are less...

(and i guess how much rubber is left on them too)

and someone correct me but was it the 32 Simex's that were actually 33?

i'm going to the 32" simex ETs in a couple of months. simex web site state they measure 33.4" or something by 11.2 wide, or something like that.

simex 31"s are pretty big, like 32.2" or something. i cant remember.
