expensive

i think GQ are around 400-450 a side, GU is bigger so i am guessing dearer. thats not including fitting. probably allow 2 hours labour for fitting both sides.

How do you know it is the cv busted ?

Could it be the freewheeling hub or diff??

Not that many people break GU CV"s !

$70 is a bit cheap for a cv

I used to get a good deal for them 2nd hand for around $150. I think $200 is more realistic for 2nd hand ones.

and no need to change both unless both are broken.

Are you sure you busted the CVs?? They are pretty tough. More likely to have stripped the FW hub, are they the stupid auto locking hubs?? If they are it is quite possible.

i had a problem with clicking cv's and even unlocking on hill climbs etc  turn out to be loose wheel bearings  tighten up and all was good ;)
