MQ front diff drivers side link connection method

Show me yours, as am going to do a 3 plus panhard but wanting to see how others have welded on drivers side as center is a cast unit and could be possible welding issues.
do ppl make a bolt on adapter or just preheat and weld away happily.

i was told to heat the cdast to red glow then weld

i would imagine preheating would be the go but would like to see what has been done succesfully before i go reinventing the wheel. I know with some hardened steel crankshafts for two strokes ppl weld the big end pin after aligning with stainless rods on an arc welder as stainless steel has a lower coefficient of expansion/contraction compared to mild steel and therefore won't contract away from the base metal.
but pictures would of great help here or pm me if like me you have no way of posting them.

talk to screwy screwball off this forum he welded a soa set up he should be able to give u some ideas / advice

from memory (yes a bad one) with the soa it was welded on just the tube side and the u bolts did the rest could be wrong though.
