TDC mark on 3L engine

Post by high n mighty »

Seems to me that it is TDC of number one piston however I have found marks with texta showing that when the timing belt was changed it was possibly done with TDC of number 4 piston.

Is it fine to pull the engine down using number 1 piston as the mark? Especially considering that the mark on the crank takes it to number 1??

I have this posted similar in general, if its an issue please move that one over here.
