Hi guys, My mate who has a 60 series is after an opinon on a new clutch kit.
We've had a look at what repco has and we're thinking the heavy duty one, but they also have a "4terrain" one specifically for 4wds.

JUst wondering if anyone has used or has an opinon on these?

Thanks Chris.

We have used all types and brands of clutch kits. It really depends on what you will use the truck for, what tyres you are running, are you towing, whats your budget etc etc. We have had good experience with Exedy and PBR clutch kits namely the Safari Tuff and 4Terrain units. Mind you I used to have a Safari Tuff in my sick turbod diesel and it only lasted 20000k's. We have since changed it to a 4Terrain and it seems strong. The major difference between these units are the initial cost (4Terrain is cheaper). Time is the real test for this new 4Terrain Unit.

Ok thanks for the replies fellars!!!! :)

Well this truck is his daily driver and he uses it mainly for driving in sand and medium 4wd tracks, running a/t tyres. its a petrol too.

Hey Mitchell how does that 4terrain clutch feel under the foot? is it really stiff or what?

Cheers chris.
