we may have the opportunity to bring in a good quality HID insert kit, would this be of interest to anyone, ie buying of a store as opposed to EBAY sellers?

Im quite interested in a pair of 42 watt HIDs
Will you be looking at getting them or just the 35 watters?

for the industrial 55w HID you'll be looking at LEAST $1000, its simply not worth the cost an extremely hard to sell, that why no1 retailer would carry them. 2 sets of 35w in spot lights is more that enough for bush bashing in the dark.

I have bought 2 sets from the above supplier and can recomend the product (so far) and the service of the seller.

By the way, being the sole distributor for anything chinese does not seem to mean much. I have a friend who was the "sole distributor" for some chinese motor bikes and with in 12 months there was dozens of the same brand/exact copies with a different name on the market.

Ok, have looked into the options a bit more, and pricing should be good, it seems that for the better part ALL HID the product is the same with different brand lables etc, is that really possible from product out of china

will be chasing more info next week with a view to bring in a couple for trial

will keep everyone posted

Ps they are the real deal with the balast etc, but the so called HID globe only type that some people flog off as HID

i must say that pretty competitive prices for 42W, make sure they are 42w and not flogging off re-bagded 35w. gluck with it.

they arent "supervision:" so im cool with that.

2 things
1) Im watching these
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll ... 0022675787
Any word on how good this kinda thing is, I have some Cibie Super Oscars I was going to use em on as a cheap trial really..

- I hate auctions with HIDDEN BIDDERS.. scam IMHO... but Rudi has a set from this seller, looked at em last night, look ok

2) LIGHTFORCE are bringing out some 170 HID's... but probably still be stupidly expensive

Put a pair of HIDs (6000k) in my Super Oscars recently, AWSOME light, had to make a larger wiring hole to match the grommet on the lamp wires so as to keep them standard incase needed replacement etc. they are great and give the super oscars a new life.

I can supply 50w HID conversion kits for less than $600- / kit. In all globe types and ranging from 4300k to 6000k. These can easily be fitted to all types of driving lights including lightforce. I can fit these for you or I believe bushy sells a fitting bracket that makes for an easy conversion. These are definately not rebadged 35 watts and are the Xtec brand.
