80s front diff will bolt straight into 100s . If you a factory turbo model with live axle it will match the rear. Petrols have different ratio so 80s front diff wont match the rear diff.

Don't the TD and V8 run IFS front diffs???
Do they still work in a Live axle???

Sorry if my post confused you...the 80 front diff will fit in a RFS 100, and be stronger.....but you also need the 4.1 ratio from the rear diff of a v8/t/d and then the speedo gear from the transfer.
I tried to warn a guy once about the weakness of the IFS diff/front end... but alas, he found out up the cape the hard way. From memory, i copped alot of flack at the time aswell....
