Is there any interest in a 22kg including clutch cast nodular iron flywheel
I have been making these for off road or heavy pulling vehicles

hey adrian didn't realise you were on these forums.
22kg flywheel lot of centrifigul forces there you would want to be running a steel bell housing cos if it let go yould be called stumpy. (not just because of the missing legs haha)

That is why they are made from nodular iron, The same material that crankshafts are made from. GM and Ford also use nodular iron in their high perfomance flywheels
Do not confuse these with your common garden gnome type cast iron flywheels

Not really, the flywheel would probably act as its own RPM limiter. How much does a stock flywheel weigh anyway???
