Clean it and see what happens. i had a car that used to get a film on it occasionly. happened whenver i ran Castrol GTX2. Id say look into it a bit more. if it comes back straight away, your in trouble

Cheers

So the oil on the dipstick is a greyish color? May have come in around the front crank pulley seal? Oil cooler leaking??

Does it smell like the Glycol Coolant you would be running? Condensation can be the cause, clean it, and see if it comes back.

If it's just under the oil cap it doesn't necessarily mean much. I would clean it up and watch out for more signs.

If you've got access to a radiator pressure tester, pressure test your cooling system and see if the pressure goes down over a few minutes. Also if it's leaking coolant into the oil, 9 times out of 10 it'll be because of a cracked head (if it's a tb42 motor). With engine at operating temperature and pressure in the cooling system, pull the rocker cover off and look around the welsh plugs that are factory fitted to the cylingder head. If you see any steam or mild bubbles, clean around the area as best as you can and look for any hairline cracks.

Ummm no. Mines already sucked me dry, and everytime I've fixed one thing, I find something else that needs attention.
