as some of u might know im lookin for info on diffs to do my soa with ..but now i was thinking about coil five link does any 1 do a kit for the mks or has any1 done this b4 as i am quite interested

IMO it would probably be easier if you bought a rolled GQ from a wrecker and put the MK body on the GQ chassis. Should be pretty straightforward.

have thought that but i kinda like the unique idea of it also cost more to buy a shorty gq from a wrecker

I have thought about doing coils under my MQ....considered it a lot actually.
But that is only because I live in the USA and can't have a GQ until they are 25yrs old which won't be until 2013. Stupid import laws....
Putting a MQ body on a GQ chassis sounds like a waste....
BTW, take a look at GQ Patrol. In a lot of ways it looks like a MQ/GQ fusion. But maybe he just hacked his GQ to make it a soft top....?

RMP&O are u talking bout the green one cos its a mk with gq gaurds
it also has a 5 link and stll retains an idler arm wich means its m series or a gq leaf sprung wich only came in utes
