80 series aircon charge weight

Hi, Can anyone tell me the weight of the R134A gas to charge an 80 series with the 3F. thanks.

should be written on the sight glass or filter ...cant see it goto auto elec/air con recharge and they can tell you if you plan of doing it on ur own theres more to it then they plug i nthe gas and let it go

Cheers, My son is an electrician and also does aircon installation , houses and commercial. We do not have the tables for the cars. As you are aware its better and quicker to weigh the exact amount in rather than have too much which makes the condensor run hot or not enough where the system is not effective.The original sight glass may have it on but the aftermarket glass fits app 10 different vehicles and does not have anything like that on it.I rang two and neither wanted to say the correct amount. Thanks anyway.

maybe goto super cheap auto and find a workshop manuel ..have a quick look and that will tell ya ......hot tip run a 134a 70% mix 404a mix.....works a treat for me compressor dont have to work as hard

Thanks for that. I rang three more shops and a helpful bloke at Davis Auto Air ,T'ville told me 800 to 850 grams which should show 170/210 on the manifold gauges. Hope this is useful to someone else. Thanks again,cheers
