31x10.5 on 6 inch rim

Hi all, just woundering if anybody has tryed running 31x10.5x15 on a 6 inch rim as i have heard that some people run rims 1 size smaller to help tyres from coming off at low pressure.

Not recommended but you can certainly do it. 7-8" recommended for 31x10.5x15
Would be fine for a 30"

Will be a bit to narrow for the tyre.
Normally a 9.5 is recomended for a 7 inch rim.
So you'll find they are probably recomending 7inch as a minimum for that width...

Yes, can be done, but not road legal in Australia.

Yeah as said, not road legal in Australia, and depending on where you go to fit the tyres they wont even ft them to the rims.
9.5" or a 225 would be the widest you should go, some places will say you can fit a 235 but I would think this is slightly too wide.
