Noisy tappets on 1988 4 cylinder petrol Pajero

I have very noisy tappets on my pajero, anyone know if they can be adjusted or are they hydraulic and need to be replaced.
Hi, they can be adjusted easily. Valve clearences are 0.15 mm for inlet. 0.25 mm for exaust valve.
