Shuttle valve in master cylinder

Hi All,
Later model RR Classic brake m/c with the warning light switch in the cylinder.
Going from the front the shuttle valve has a a circlip then a spring, an O ring sitting a groove, tapers down then back up, annother O ring sitting on a thinner section which has a groove right at the booster end.
Question is: Is there something missing from the narrow end near the booster? Like a sleeve to hold the O ring in position and another O ring in the groove to hold the sleeve in place?
I've seen an LR workshop manual and it looks as if there is a sleeve or something like that over the thin end.
TIA, DL

I will need an email address to send pic to.
Try email to me again and a pm to be sure.

OK, found out that I'm missing a little plastic sleeve from the end of the shuttle.
Does anyone have a rooted early 87 AP (Lockheed) master cylinder lying around? (The one with the warning switch hanging out the side and the pressure reducing valve mounted horizontally on the side of the engine bay underneath) Am just after the sleeve, which will be right at (in) the end of the shuttle valve bore.
The info came from this site:
www.landrover.ee/est/varia/downloads/cars.htm
which has a lot of workshop manuals in sections in pdf format. Be aware that some of these pdf's are 5Mb plus.
TIA, DL

You should be able to make the sleeve fairly easily.
Or just shine a light down the hole and see if it's still in there.

Hi Kiwi,
Changed over the MC for a stainless sleeved one. Don't have a sample. When you see what the sleeve is for (pdf) it all makes sense. I can re-pro nearly anything out of nearly anything but sometimes it really helps to have the item in front of you.
cheers mate, DL
