Gas on td42

Hi All,
I have a turbo patrol with a 3 inch exhaust. I got it dyno at turbo glide and got 131 hp at the wheels with 33s on it.
Has any one put gas on something similar to my car and did it make a big difference.
I have seen mags with write up on it but the patrol was a stocky and they ony got 141 hp with 31s so I guess if I was running 31s I would not be far behind.
Does it make a difference when the car already goes better than standard.
Also would it make the car run hotter??
