Airbag question

Can a car still be driven after the bag has gone off?

they say your not meant to, its meant to be towed to manufacturer to be replaced, but i cant see why folding it up and tapin it to the steering wheel with some duct gunna stop ya.

On some cars when the airbag goes off it will send a fault code to the ECU and shut off fuel etc becuase the vehicle has been in an accident and sometimes the fault code has the be cleared before you can drive it again but depends from car to car

The vehicle is also deemed unroadworthy. All SRS systems need to be complete and functioning to comply with ADRs.
