With out starting a "Winch War",
would it be possible to seal and add breathers to an
non warn winch.
I'm looking at getting a T-Max and would like to seal
it against water, mud etc.
Cheers Ian.

Not sure, but i think the T-max is the same basic unit as a brawn winch. And the brawn winches came with a warranty against mud damage or similar IIRC.
Any brand of sinch should be sealable.

i sealed up one of the ebay ones that look exactly the same as those 2
easy as ........... all you need is a few tools, a drill n tap and a tube of silicon.
oh and an air fitting and some tube for the breather
just make sure you look and plan where you are going to put breather and pull it all aprat first
