Ok so how about cutting the shaded area and plating the bottom?
Only problem is the green lines show where the body support mounts run downward. Ideas?
I like the stationwagon idea for the secure stoage. Another option could always be a tray back but cannot afford to had it off the road that long

Just about to get one of them and the first things on my list are body lift, shackles and chop the rear gaurds cause they have a preety sh#thouse departure angle. As sixty said ih8mud has heaps of pics and ideas

By 1/4 chop, I meant cut the rear quarters off (the section you damaged) and run a tube rear bar under the cut. I didn't mean cut the back of your car off
