Outer Limits 4x4 Board

I'm in a bit of a bind.

The missus was driving our 2002 Hilux (with the 1KZTE TD motor)
today and three times the turbo light came on and the endine stopped.
She coasted to the side of the road and restarted it a minuite later each time
with no problems.

All the fluids are OK and the electrical conectors around the turbo and
inlet manifold seem OK.

Any advice?

We are supposed to be heading to Fraser Is tomorrow morning.
I'm not sure if we will go if I can't find out whats wrong so the pressure
is on a bit . :-?

Could be overboost- wastegate line fell off, so the turbo boosts to buggery, engine detects and goes into limp mode- shutsdown to stop turbo spinning

if they are simlar to the surfs you should be able to pull up the fault codes.
