GQ firewall mods for V8

Have 302 Clevo (Dellow adaptor) in a GQ with a 2" bodylift.
I would like to get rid of the bodylift but the V8 sits so far back in the engine bay that the bodylift is needed to allow clearance around the rocker covers.

Can anyone advise how much I could push the firewall in to create some room?

And there's also the clutch and vacuum booster- they also get in the way if the body were dropped down- any ideas?

Lastly- is there any bolt on extractors available that would clear the chassis rails?

I'm just going though the same thing. I've just sold my turbo and have bought a vh45 which is the same width as a BB chev. I'm going about it differently as I'm taking the body off, fitting the motor and putting a (most likely a Navara) body on to suit the motor. I looked at cutting firewall, spacing the motor foward etc etc and figured I'd rather move the body and get weight off the front wheels and improve approach angle.

You can either massage the body with a hammer to clear all or move the lot forward an inch or two.

I personelly massaged the body as keeping the weight of the front diff is ideal.

On my windsor I have hurricane extractors that clear chassis but clevo may be different.

if its a ute i would move the body back on the chassis, better approach angle, better wheel clearence, better weight balance.

If i do one again i will do this as i think the marks spacer is my trucks weakpoint
