who can do this for me??? i bent one yesterday, can a tyre place do it? or a panelbeaters? im not keen on having a whack at it,

or i could just swap rims with my perfectly good spare and run the bent one with my spare...??? :?

hammer time

then make it the spare. If thats a trak 11 they are fairly soft.

I had one pissing air after a hit, managed to beat it back into shape and drive off with 15psi left in the tyre

if it still holds air.. it should be right to use as a spare. as it looks like its been smacked inwards. Unless you feel like takin the tyre off and straightenin the rim.. i wouldnt bother.

Whack the spare on and drive.

And then keep an eye out for cheap replacement rim in your time..

Just do that my spare has a flat spot and just go and check out wreckers for a new set you wont spend more than 50 per rim if alloys if sunnys I think they is about 55 new

yeh it holds air, i drove home on it after i aired back up. Thinkin i might take the tyres off the bent and spare rims, beat the bent one and then swap tyres as the tyre on the spare rim is only good for a spare as well. That way ill have good tyre and rim on the car, and the beaten rim and spare tyre as the spare on the back,

yeh harley, the spare rim and 33" mtr cost me $50, so ill swap the rims over and run that. keep the bent one as a spare. it runs fine, its just bent

its the tie rod that also bent thats running a muck with my steering. wreckers arent open til tommorrow.... :x

thanks guys

I run a tyre shop and I fix these things all the time.
Depending on how bad the damage is it can be
"beaten" out to relitave straightness with a decent
hammer and a bit of nouse. You've gotta get the tyre
off the rim first usually. Then I just spin the wheel
on the balancer to make shure it's not too out of
wack B4 it gets refitted. You can do this at home
so long as the damage is only superficial. Your's
looks fixable to me...........

Pretty much, if you cant knock it straight with a
hammer, ditch it, they are cheep for what they are.
