75series with 35's

My mate's got a 75 series ute which he will be running 35's on. The problem is that when he full locks with 33's the tyres scrub-out on the leaf springs, the 35's will be worse.

He has extended shackles giving about a 3" lift and has moved the front axle forward about 35mm so clearance is not an issue. He currently runs offset 15x10" rims (i'm not sure how much offset, but a fair bit)

He was going to use wheel spacers but was strongly advised against them. What are others doing to combat this problem on leaf-sprung trucks? And what are thoughts on wheel spacers?

my mates 75 had the same trouble with 10" rims so he went back to 8's and they are fine. He runs 35/12.5/15 bf mudders. 2" body lift and 2" springs.
