Which front looks best - early 110 or defender

trying to work out the front of the lockless - headlight surrounds series 3- early 110 style or later defender style?

Note it will have a stinger and alot more guard chopping before its finished.

another vote for the fender front. is it just my eyes playing tricks and the main diff iss just black headlight surrounds?

Go with the Fender front...but do the headlight surrounds in some bling-ass stainless :armsup:

I think the 110 front looks slightly better, but the stage1 front will let you chop more of the guards off... I would probably use the stage 1.

Go late County with the oz extended A/C grille, you can then fit a humungous intercooler........

intercooler HUH? its a v8 and its not blown (yet)

I can cut up the plastic as much as i can cut up the series one. my grinder doesnt care. :D

Yes, but IMO cut plastic light surrounds would look crappy - but I am happy for you to prove me wrong.

If you can get them, series 2 front guards, cut in your own headlight buckets the cut the fronts up as high as possible.

OOPS, I didn't read all that well did I?? Still, IF you get sick of the V8, IF you want to go diesel, then there is enough room for a decent sized intercooler...

if i put an extended grill in, Bugger the intercooler, i could fit another motor in there :D

Rolls Royce Merlin V12 ;) - two stage supercherger...

defender front

I have an extended front grill in mine only because I had to fit a custom radiator a/c radiator twin thermo's and two big oil coolers one for the auto one for the engine . The problem I have now is the winch bar I made with the high mount wont fit and the bar hangs out a fair bit . losing a bit of aproach angle might have to move the radiator back on to the tray so I can move the bar as far back as possible dont want to have to make up extended plates :cry:
