Outer Limits 4x4 Board

hi all, ive found that the boltes had come out of the left side engine mount on the fender and the engine had dropped on to the starter, this caused all the engine wieght to sit on the support from the g box which also bolts to the engine mounts, its snapped the alloy casting on the box and would like to know if its right to weld back up.

is this on the alloy sandwich plate that the gearbox blots to? i have a spare if you are interested.
