G'day Gang,

My mate baught my old mans old MQ Patrol. The L28 didnt cut the mustard so he decided to put a ford 351 into the car. He used a Delow conversion(sydney) kit. And the job was relativly straight forward. However i agree with the last few posts. I cant remember the last time we went out without him blowing something up. His done diffs, axles and last weekend he did the input shaft to the trnsferrcse. Hell of a car! But get ready to be changing driveline components if your wanting to give it prently of stick! :D

All the best

Pity the GQ 351 C conversion isn't as easy as the MQ ( firewall design). I would love to do that conversion for my Mav.

I had a 351 clevo in my lwb mq for 2 years turning 35's with front and rear lockers and only ever did 2 cv's in all that time. If he's gonna drive it like an idiot and expect things not to break then he has unrealistic expectations.

Just massage the fire wall as it is worth it.
