I got given a new snatch strap the other day

Its a Black Rat one. Anyone
here used one? are they up to the job. Also I have two recovery hooks bolted to the chassie at the rear, one on each side, now would it be ok to use just one of the hooks when doing a snatch or would it be safer if i used both.
cheers.

on a 4wdmonthly magazine DVD thing
they used both
with a snatch block some how?
but im guessing
it depends on the situation
on which way the car is bogged and how you want to get it out
if its just straight out, both would be great, as even loads and car comes out straight
but most people who dont have two only use one...
so hey?
up to you really

depends on the breaking strain
a mate had a brand new one 4000kg and it snapped on the second pull, i have had my 9000kg one for ages used to death and still going

I wouldn't even stand where I could see a 4000kg snatch strap being used
You could use a load equiliser strap between the two mounting points to distribute the force more evenly... although that is another point at which something could go astray

Ditto to that.
Where on earth did you even get a 4000kg. I used more than that on my ZOOK!!!
