Hi, i was just curious if any has rebuilt a 1 litre f10a engine. i was just curious if the gudgeon pin should press into the conrod bearing or should th gudgeon slide in the piston and the conrod? any help would be great. the original pistons and gudgeons just pushed out bu hand.

I rebuilt mine a few months ago. I would say that the gudgeons SHOULDN"T just push out by hand. I put my pistons with rods attached through the robo wash at work, and they didn't budge.
I reckon the piston assembly is worn.

thanks, i ended up reeming the small ends out to suit the wrist pins, just wasn't sure if this model was supposed to be pressed in or slide in as the engine was alreacy in pieces. cheers
