Tonight when i went to replace my rear pads I took off L/H rear wheel to notice the caliper was just held on by the bottom bolt...

The top one is different with like a metal cup or cover thing on it.. But also it was SNAPPED...

So there for the caliper was only held by one bolt and was and is rubbing on the wheel..

is there any way to fix this or better of getting secondhand one??

Does any one have one to sell me??? it is 1990 MAV on petrol... I am in brissy... Would be good before weekend...

Cheers
Stewie

hey Bogged..

I agree i wanted to go new not second hand,
But Nissan Wanted $470 for caliper and $145 for the mount thingo...

So not the best option for me Atm...

Do you know what would cause it to snap the top mount?

Not sure what would have caused it

I think the bolt with metal cap you speak of is one of your slides which can be replaced. Maybe better with a recon caliper as that side is problematic. Only result I got from mine was a recon unit .
