Hey RockyMan,
those two rocky's are one and the same, and that car yard is nearly a wreckers, you would have to spend up big on their cars, or use them on the farm. Note that they don't quote K's. Stay away QLDGAL

You could be right but you also could be totally wrong and miss a bargain.
Its bit hard to judge 4wd by photo and few words.
No note about kms is bit of a worry.
I would look at it but its bit of a hike from Melbourne. :P

Hi Rockyman,
This dealer is a liquidator, and his cars are the ones that
"John West Rejects", I looked there when shopping for mine, not much point going back.

I just dont get it you guys have to pay $10000 for a rocky/ feroza 87 and look at it as a bargain. I whould not even give it a seccond look that ia about the price people paid for them new in 87. You can get a 99 feroza under 100000km in NZ for less than that. I paid 9750 for mine (from dealer) wich included a new set of tyres (all 5) ( capy hancooks if its free its free) and it has a Air con, full power mags and a set of steels with 30 10.5, nudge bar with spots, kenwood cd and stacker jb quarts amp and speakers, new timing belt full service history. I think some oz boy is having you guys eat out of the cats bowl or was that the dogs.

I saw a 98 feroza 115000 for just over 6G yesterday was thinking of buying it for the wife so the bug is there for fun not wash, polish and tyre swap every sunday. It has full elec and good sound extractors and a ss freeflow last two whould go great on my bug. from a dealer

A product is only worth what people are willing to pay damd if I will pay that Make an offer that is way lower than he advertise and leave it up to him if the car stands its his loss. They all come arround in the end.

if you guys look at consumer law it states that parts must be available for a car sold by a dealer. There is your argument you cant buy new parts for ferozas if its f...d you have to get them made and secondhand parts is not available parts its secondhand an you are not coverd by a governing body. this means the car is overpriced come guys stand stron f... them dealers.

motivated by rum and coke.
cheers yoda

Kinky!

Yoda, you've got the advantage of Jap import Ferozas over your way. From what I've heard about NZ cars there are two prices for any given car model- one for a Jap import model (cheap) and another for the exact same model that was sold new in NZ (a lot dearer). Is that still the case?

Also, I've seen how much you guys pay for Commodores over there- wouldn't catch me paying that much!

NZ New has bbeen more costly in the past but things have changed with the waranty system. if you buy NZ New you have to buy a aftermarket waranty ( $1500 up) but buy a import and you get a 3 year /300 000km waranty that covers every thing even the shocks and cambelt not coverd by a new car waranty. Imports have been made more expensive thus maching NZ new car prices with the aded bonus of the waranty and all get independant odo check. Why people still buy NZ New sec... dont ask me I dont know. To me it makes more sense to have a dash with the odd funny symbol. Dont do any mods thoug lose your waranty even a snorkle voids it as it ups the kw rating by 1.4% its a power increase. Bullsh...t. :bad-words: I dont care for the waranty for I wanted to have fun and thats why I said dont want waranty give me discount it came as an airconditioner with full 2 year waranty... mmmm Im a ref. engineer why whould any company be dumb enough to give me 2 year failure cover. Stupid to say the least. The only thing is its not installed yet because its not available :D Ill have to put some pressure on sombodys head for money but I will be a dick first and be adamant about the AC. Dont let him know I have one in the house just ready to go in.
Man I have lost the plot. Buy import its cheaper If you use your brain.
