Carby problem? - Not idling properly (stalling)

Motor is a 4Y-c (2.2L petrol carby)
Toyota 4Runner, 89 (old shape)

Motor does flood on occasion as it has a weak spark (I think this is irrelevant to current problem)

Getting too much air over dunes will also cause it to flood, but it's usually a case of letting it blow itself out and she's sweet.

Last week I went to stockton, and hit a dune a bit too hard (unintentionally), it coughed and spluttered and flooded, but as I'm used to it I got it going again. But now, it stalls if I don't keep the revs up above 1000rpm. It is a pain in the ass in traffic as it stalls when you're pulling up at lights.

Any help?? :)

This happens to me in zook!

All i do is take the aircleaner thing off the top of the carbie and give it a rev and then stick your hand over the top at the same time! Your hand will get covered in crap.

Should be able to do it yours i think!

if you know you have a weak spark than fix that first , i had all the usall zook carby dramas but in the end it was weak spark , so if you know yours need fixing anyways you might as well start there .
