do it up tight - then wack the bejeusus out of it (the centre bolt), should pop off.

Went through to harmonic balancer pullers today on the commodore. cheap crappy things that they are
(centre thread stripped). Went to ge a half decent one made from steel but could not justify the extra $$$ so just brought another cheap one to break :D

they gave me the old bolt on one and the nissan dont have hole to screw them into, ended up useing a gear puller or somthing did the trick and didnt brake, i even got my timing line back on it :) reaplaced the seal old one was hard and crusty,

last time i went to super crap i got the pitman arm puller to which i snapped clean :)

i payed 22 odd for the gear puller, plus a further $12.60 for a 27mm impack 6 sided socket,

next on my list is to do tappets/valve clearnce and work out the power steering leak
