URGENT: G13bb engine conversion help (electrical)!!!

Post by Abaris »

I have the engine in, the only things left to do are the electrics and the fuel pump.

What are the minimum things to install in regard to the wiring?
Computer, injectors, lights, starter motor, altenator, oxygen sensors (airbox and exhaust)... anything else?

...I may be in over my head.

Any help very muchly appreciated,

its going to be hard to explain, but if you have a complete loom - uncut then you can use the same big wire and switch wire from your standard loom for your starter motor.

you need to change the plug over from your old alt, to the new alt's plug(you have to look at wiring diagrams to find out what wire goes where) eg neg, field voltage etc.

then if you answered yes to the first questin about the uncut loom, you need to find which wire is acc, ign, fuel pump wire, and engine coolant wire.

the easiest way to do this is with the wiring diagram i will try and send you.

you dont need to worry about wiring individual sensors(eg: inj, o2 etc..) as this is all controlled with the but the computer, and as long as the computer has the nessecary wires connected(ign acc power) then all is good...
